History

Gable Price and Friends was established by Gable Price in 2018 while attending school in Redding, partially in response to failing to make it onto his school's music team. Price recruited his friends — guitarist Adam Elizarraraz, drummer Daniel Vargas, and producer Jace Fay — to record a debut EP, The Redding Ep, which they released in 2018. They intended for their music to be singable by church congregations.\n

In 2019, the band began writing and recording their first full length album, \"Fractioned Heart\" which played a formative roll for the band. This is the first album that introduced David Funk as a bass player/producer and Cameron Pablo as a guitar player. The band recorded the album in producer Aaron Brohman's studio in Sacramento, CA. The album was released on June 12, 2020 with the band hosting a YouTube live stream playing the full album top to bottom plus more from their Dead Man EP. \n

IIn 2023, their song \"Brother Jack\" was chosen as the Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year at the 54th GMA Dove Awards.\n

In 2024, Daniel Vargas left the band. The next year, Adam Elizarraraz followed suit.\n

Gable Price and Friends toured with Fitz and the Tantrums in 2025. That same year, they were featured on Josiah Queen's song, \"Thief in the Night.\" The band subsequently joined Queen, along with Benjamin William Hastings, for his Mt. Zion Tour in the spring of 2026.\n

In October 2026, the band released Moving Target, their 8th EP.\n
